STAT INHERITANCE
As a player, you don't have to be completely familiar with the ins and outs of inheritance, but for those who are curious...
By utilizing a special breeding-related stat called Genetic Strength, foals are able to inherit stats/rep from their parents on a weighted scale that maintains a bit of randomness while still tipping the scales one way or another. Genetic Strength pools multiple stats together to provide this handy little number, and is made up of the following values with a cap of 80 (so you might reach the cap based on xp OR based on division, etc):
- Division - Allowance: 20, Grade III: 30, Grade II: 45, Grade I: 60
- OR Broodmare/Stud Tier - ☆: 35, ☆☆: 45, ☆☆☆: 60
- XP Rank - Bronze: 5, Silver: 10, Gold: 15, Platinum: 25, Diamond: 35
- +10% of Tenacity
- +10% of Total Base Stats
That chance is first rolled to determine which "quality" range the foal falls into, then the parents' stats are rolled within that range. Each value is then combined with its counterpart and averaged out to determine the foal's base stats. Birth Rep is determined the same way as base stats - the only difference is that each parent's Fame is divided by 2 before being rolled.
This quality chance/range (MIN/MID/MAX) helps balance breeding rolls and makes the highest quality foals a bit more of a rarity!

In summary, each foal's stats are determined as follows:
★ Gender: 50/50 roll.
★ Potential: (10% of Tenacity)-10 roll.
★ Fitness: Starts at 60%.
★ Base Stats: Determined by Genetic Strength. Capped at 15 per stat at birth, but can be improved later via potential.
★ Tenacity: Parent average. Rolled between (Avg. -5) and (Avg. +5).
★ Birth Rep: Each parent's Fame is divided by 2, then rolled using Genetic Strength. Capped at 1000.
★ Conformation: Rolled for each category. See chart below.
