This week, the results are packed full of upsets, with many favorites falling to low placings. We're not quite sure what happened this time around, but it seems as though some of the horses were... less than willing to run. Most of the fields ushered in brand new winners, with some horses rising to the occasion from sub-10% chance ratings. Babypigtiny emerged as a strong contender this week with three wins total, tied with dvmpster. Of the individual winners, ban-ei's Blackjack seems to be making a name for himself with consistently high placings lately, while buckuroo's horses Conspiracy Theory and The Gambler begin to find their rhythm. The leaderboard has remained mostly unshaken for the past few weeks, but it seems that a number of new horses are now cruising for the crown.

This time around, it was Maple-Meadows on top with five wins spread across all three divisions. Honorable mentions this week include foxbourne, dvmpster, and rayxray, all coming in with multiple wins. With some very strong performances from their two frontrunners in the last few weeks, it seems that rayxray's string is a force to be reckoned with. We also saw an uncharacteristic slip this weekend from dvmpster's G3 runners, as all three of her entrants fell to the bottom placings, only to bounce right back up to top three in the next race. Inconsistent performances seem to be paving a path for others to step up to the plate, and with rayxray's Caffeinated Thesis moving into G3 next week, there's no telling what could happen.

Despite recurrent wins from dvmpster's string, their placings were largely scattered this time around, instead bringing some other stables out from the wings. It was Maple-Meadows and LakelandEC with the highest number of wins this week, bringing home two wins each with a number of other high placings to boot. With fresh competitors in Grade III, Social Butterfly failed to display her usual rigor, giving up the crown to Blue Velvet and Chickadee. Across all fifteen fields, most seemed to be first-time wins, possibly indicating a new wave of top performers in the weeks to come.
